Community
Participate through shared context
Members bring the perspective of their Organizations, communities, and networks.
ROC brings members, Organizations, communities, and partners together to strengthen resilience before, during, and after disruption. Participation is rooted in real organizational and community contexts, with practical Applications and collaboration available when the work calls for a larger table.
ROC remains request and invite driven while communities and Organizations onboard with the support they need.
Community
Members bring the perspective of their Organizations, communities, and networks.
Organization
Organizations bring ROC into their own setting when the work is ready for onboarding and adoption.
Partners
Networks form when resilience calls for a larger table than one Organization can hold alone.
ROC does not treat resilience tools as finished products handed down from a distance. The Applications change as members and partners contribute feedback, examples, and emerging needs.
01
Members bring experience from real Organizations, communities, incidents, exercises, and recovery work.
02
Practitioners and partners contribute feedback, examples, and guidance as shared tools evolve.
03
ROC keeps Applications connected to changing conditions because resilience depends on adaptability and change readiness.
DRU note
DRU is joining ROC. The University of Oregon will host the DRU community and invite current members into a dedicated space for message boards and network participation. ROC is broader than DRU and supports many resilience communities.
